Obituary
LANEXA - Marlene Karen Hazelwood, 64, went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2013. She was a devoted wife and mother who spent her life taking care of her family. Marlene was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, Edward, Joyce and Betty. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ralph Hazelwood; three children, Mattie Marie Coven (Thayer), Karen Teagle (Jason), and Carl Hazelwood; eight grandchildren, Hatie Ruffing (Derek), Summer Johnson, Patrick Coven, Nicholas Coven, Amber Hazelwood, Hayden Teagle, Trevor Coven, Skyler Teagle; one great-grandchild, Autumn Ruffing; two sisters, Nancy Ross and Dorothy Hicks. A funeral service will be held 1 p. m. Thursday, January 24th, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association , P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA, 23058-5216.
