Nancy Gard Litzinger Custis  

On Sunday, January 3, 2016; the beloved wife of Irving W. Custis; daughter of the late John and Elva Gard; sister of Julia Gard-Zuzick, Patricia Dean, and the late Marallyn Beatty; sister-in-law of Samuel Beatty. She is also survived by three step-daughters, Chaille, Tory and Heather, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Nan was a graduate of James Madsion University and a longtime guidance counselor and school teacher in Prince George's County.

Friends may call at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. A visitation will be held at the Hinman Funeral Home on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment at First Baptist Church of Pocomoke Cemetery in Pocomoke City, MD.  www.hinmanfuneralhome.com.
