Obituary
"Pake" was the son of Jacob and Mary (Richardson) Rusie and the grandson of immigrants from Germany, Michael and Catharine (House) Rusie. He married Myrtle Lee Spicer on August 8, 1893.

He was in the shoe repair business and at one time operated a Dog and Pony Show. He was a member of the Christian Church and belonged to the Masonic Lodge.

He died at the home of his daughter, Wanda (Rusie) Potts. He was ill for 2 months leading up to his death. In addition to Wanda Potts, he was survived by his son, Forest Rusie; four grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Raleigh Rusie of Dallas, Texas.

***

His daughter, Mrs. Wanda Potts, was the Indiana Room librarian at the Mooresville Public Library. She contributed much in keeping genealogy records available so that those of us who wish to remember our forebearers might do so.  J.Sullivan on Find A Grave
