Final rites will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Carlisle & Son Funeral Home for Brooks Sanders Rusie, sixty-eight years of age, a former resident of this community, who died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Lichliter of Monon. The service will be in charge of the Rev Floyd Smith. Mr. Rusie was born in Mooresville on December 5, 1878, a son of the late Jacob and Mary Rusie. The family moved to Indianapolis in 1924. The widow, Mrs. Hazel Rusie, survives, along with four sons, Harold, Walter and Charles of Indianapolis, and Robert of Freehold, New Jersey; five daughters, Mrs. Lichliter, Mrs Dollie Bova and Miss Elizabeth Rusie of Indianapolis, Mrs. Sarah Setchell of Stanhope, Iowa, Mrs. Elsie Smock of Southport; three brothers, Wallace Rusie of Mooresville, Arthur of Toledo, Ohio, and Raleigh of Dallas, Texas. Two grandsons also survive.
