Obituary
John B Parrish died in Wenatchee Nov. 2, after a protracted illness with typhoid fever, aged 27 years and six months. He leaves to mourn their sad loss a brother, E. E. Parrish, who took care of him during his illness, a father, Dr. G. M. Parrish of Lake Chelan, and a mother residing in Iowa, so it is understood. The deceased was born at Keokuk, Iowa, and was raised at Macedonia, Iowa, where he was educated. At the time of his death he had been telegraph operator in the employ of the Great Northern at Wenatchee for four years, where he also filled the position of cashier.

John B. Parrish was well known and popular on Lake Chelan, where he used to spend his vacations, and was beloved by all who knew him, and his untimely removal is greatly mourned.

The body was brought to Chelan on Saturday and the funeral was held at the M. E. church at 2 pm on Sunday, Rev. Wm. Hoskins preaching a brief but impressive funeral sermon. There was a large attendance, both at the church and at Fraternal cemetery where the burial took place.
