“Minta”

Shortened version of obituary.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, at 2:00 pm at the Chelan Methodist church for Mrs. Minta M. Parrish, age 66 years and nine months, who passed away at her homein West Chelan at 12:30 pm Monday, March 9, after a short illness.

Araminta May Barnett was born May 31, 1869, at Decatur, Ill. At the age of 11 years she moved with her parents to Macedonia, Iowa, in 1880 where she grew to young womanhood and here she met Dr. G. M. Parrish, then a young practicing physician. They were married May 21, 1895, at Lincoln, Neb.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bertha Plumer of Carson, Iowa; by three brothers, Frank H. Barnett and Ira L. Barnett, both of Mount Vernon, and Ed L. Barnett, Idaho Falls, and by her son, Marrion Parrish, of Chelan.
