On April 20, 1920, she married Forest Glendon "Pake" Rusie, who preceded her in death in 1973. Two daughters were mentioned in his obituary, Mrs. Gay Popp of Indianapolis and Mrs. Myla Smith of Franklin. They also had a son, Forest Kenyon Rusie, who died in Methodist Hospital at age 9 of appendicitis.
