Obituary
Audrey Morgan HOUSE Mrs. House died on June 16, 2004 at her home. Born July 27, 1905, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She came West with her parents in early 1900's settling in Penticton, British Columbia, where she grew up and was educated in the public schools of Penticton. Upon marriage to Harry Clayton House of Chelan, they moved to Seattle in 1927 residing on Queen Anne Hill. Three years later they founded a wholesale and retail nutritional foods business in downtown Seattle located on Second Ave. They operated the business for 27 years and gained an international reputation for their products. Audrey was known and loved by hundreds of customers who came to her for nutritional advice. They sold the businesses in 1957 and retired to their home in Medina, where they have lived for the past 50 years. Both she and her husband were members of the Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Phyllis Holbrook of Seattle, and a number of nieces and nephews. Remembraces may be sent to Medic One, Bellevue or the Children's Orthopedic Hospital, Seattle or to an organization of your choice. A Cryptside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 22, at 11:30, at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 1575 145th Pl. S.E., Bellevue. Green's of Bellevue is handling arrangements.
