Obituary
On Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, Thomas Wayne Wilburn Jr., 51, passed away suddenly at home.Tommy leaves behind his parents, Thomas "Slick" and Judy Wilburn; two brothers, Mark and Greg Wilburn; one son, Brandon Browning; a daughter, Lacey Wilburn; and his best buddies, the dachshunds, J.R., Dapple and Mr. Whiskers.Tommy's freshman class was the first to attend and graduate from the then-new North Stafford High School. For 25 years he spliced high voltage underground cable working out of IBEW, Local 70; however, for the past eight years he had been on workers' compensation due to severe carpel tunnel syndrome, a condition caused by his use of hand tools. He was preparing for an upcoming tenth surgery on the same wrist.
He will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford.
