Davenport - Mildred F. Houck, of Davenport, died on Monday, May 23, 2005. Private family services will be held at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bettendorf Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.

Mildred was born February 15, 1913, in Garden Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Christopher C. and Leota (Keller) Jennings.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Wilton J. (Bill) Houck, her daughter, Virginia Houck, Minneapolis, Minn., her son, Donald, and his wife, Alice Houck, Aurora, Ill., and their daughters, Kara (Harris) and her husband, Matt Cieri, Kissimmee, Fla., and Darci Harris, Asheville, N.C., and her son, Duane, and his wife, Deborah Houck, Bettendorf. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brother, and two sisters.
