Dolan Mills, 88, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Alexandria and Remington, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital. Mr. Mills was a native of Fauquier County. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, having served in the European Theater. He was the retired owner of Mills Brothers Contractors and Builders in Alexandria. He had been a member of First Baptist Church in Alexandria for more than 50 years. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Rachel H. Mills; two children, Wesley Mills of Springfield and Carol Ann Mills of Woodbridge; two grandchildren, Alison Onaran of Gainesville and Ryan Mills of Springfield; two great- grandsons, Ethan and Evan Onaran; two sisters, Anna M. Dickson of Moseley and Barbara M. Lee of Staunton; and numerous nieces and nephews. A service will be held at noon on Saturday, April 27 at Remington Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Remington Cemetery.
