Max Rusie, 77, Indianapolis, died Sept. 20. He worked for the electrical division of Indianapolis Power & Light Co. before retiring. He was past president of Decatur Central Lions Club and co-chairman of its 4-H Fair and was past president of Decatur Township Youth & Men's Baseball. He also was a member of West Newton Masonic Lodge and Valley Mills Christian Church. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.

Memorial contributions: American Heart Association.

Services: 1 p.m. Sept. 23 in Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home, Orleans, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 22. Burial: Bethel Cemetery, Orleans.

Survivors: wife Loretta Jones Rusie; children Gary Rusie, Linda Rusie Brenton; brother William Rusie; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
