Married twice before Jo Ellen

Gary M. Rusie, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2016. Gary was born to Max and Loretta Mae (Jones) Rusie on November 24, 1951 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1970.

Gary was a founding partner and worked in marketing and sales for Swing Science LLC, a custom golf club manufacturer, for 12 years. He was a member of Valley Mills Christian Church. He was the current Decatur Central High School Alumni President and past President of Decatur Central Lions Club.

He was an avid golfer and past champion of the Decatur Central High School Alumni Golf Tournament. He lived in Indianapolis all of his life.

Gary is survived by a sister, Linda (Howard) Brenton of Orleans; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Loretta Mae Rusie.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 and 9-10 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. There will also be a Lion's Club service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. A nephew, Ezra Davis, will officiate Gary's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary. Gary will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery, Orleans.
