Loretta Mae Rusie 81, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at her home. Loretta was born May 7, 1928 in Indianapolis to Truman and Beulah Ooley Jones.

She graduated from Decatur High School with the class of 1947. She retired from AT&T in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Valley Mills Christian Church, Pioneers Club of AT&T. She did avid genealogy study.

She married Max Rusie on May 28, 1947 and he preceded her in death September 20, 2002. She is survived by her son, Gary Rusie of Indianapolis and her daughter, Linda Rusie Brenton and husband, Howard of Orleans, in the Orangeville community. Two sisters survive, Margaret Ogborn of Spencer, Indiana and Amelia "Boots" Scott and husband, Robert of Indianapolis. There are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Raymond Jones, and one great granddaughter.

The funeral will be Monday, February 15, at 1 :00 p.m. at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans, Indiana. Ezra Davis will officiate. Visitation is Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. The family requests donations to the Indiana School of Medicine in her memory.
